Shaun Keylock's Calamus to be presented as part of San Francisco Virtual Dance Festival
While SKC's tour to San Francisco may have been postponed this year, the company will still be touring to the Bay Area virtually this month. PUSHfest, a mixed-genre dance festival led by founder Raissa Simpson, will be presenting 21 different artists from across the United States and Canada as part of a new virtual festival format.
A preview of Shaun Keylock's work Calamus will be showcased on Wednesday, October 14th at 6pm PST alongside other works by Niharika Mohanty, and Molly & Aviva Rose-Williams of Split Second.
The festival runs 7 weeks, October 7 through November 18, and tickets can be purchased on the festival website below. All proceeds go towards the PUSHfest Global artists and to support Black Bay Area dance artists through the festival's Push For Change campaign.
